Advocate Nceba Gomomo is the founder and a Chairman of Maxima Global Holdings and executive director of various subsidiaries within Maxima Global Holdings. The Company was incorporated in 1998 as the multi-dimensional professional consulting service company.
Born in Uitenhage, the Eastern Cape, South Africa, he is an extraordinarily dynamic, self-made businessman. His passion for success led him to explore every way possible to achieve his business goals.
His drive to champion the economic transformation agenda and development of democracy throughout South Africa has provided many under-privileged local graduates with the opportunity to work and gain experience in the line of career within his companies.
Included in his diverse portfolio of business investments, Nceba, through the family business, The Gomomo Group, is principally involved in daytoday running of the Magnificat Hotels & resorts, The Magnificat Lodge, The Magnificat Boutique Hotel, The Magnificat Bed &Breakfast properties founded in Mafeking, Uitenhage and Fhata Construction Group, Maxima Capital, Smart Grid, The Jaguar Security Holdings, Maxima Transport and Logistics, Omelo Healthcare Holdings, Ubuntu Bam Agric and Matini Resources Group.
Advocate Gomomo 's progressive thinking made him conscious of the need to offer integrated professional consulting services through his multidimension professional consulting service firm. By positioning the quality of the service the firm provides to a far higher standard to that of competitors, he was able to take the lead in a specialized and highly competitive engineering market. Within twelve years his tenacity was rewarded by the gradual steady growth and profitability of the business.
His sharpened business and leadership skills have been acquired through his involvement with major businesses.
Advocate Gomomo is a former director of Transnet Ltd (one of the largest transportation logistic utility company), and served as a director in the Zambian railway system and Mozambique Railway Systems. He also served in the Audit Committee, Financial Committee, Corporate Governance and Nomination Committee and other Committees of Transnet and Audit Committee of South African Department Foreign Affairs. He has further been a director of and a trustee of various entities within Transnet Limited.
Advocate Gomomo also worked with Ernst and Young where he was extensively involved in Project Management of various projects, including but not limited to financial investigation, asset tracing criminal intelligence, corporate integrity service procurement fraud investigation litigation support/legal service computer forensic investigation expert witness fraud/corruption awareness and response plans. Presiding/prosecuting disciplinary hearings, alternative dispute resolution skills and project management.
Advocate Gomomo played a pivotal role in the transformation of many businesses and organizations. He conducted an international financial investigation on behalf of Kroll & Associates under German Federal Prosecution Authority. He has been appointed on numerous times by times by the high court of South Africa to act as a Curator Bonis to take control of properties unlawful activities. Furthermore Nceba was employed by the Department of Labour as Legal advisor, where he was responsible for Litigation support, Personal claims against the department.
