Mrs Buzo-Gqoboka is a confident, independent organisational leader who is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. Her strengths include exceptional communication, collaboration and motivation skills, innovation, intense pro-activity, assertiveness and resourcefulness. She has 15 years of experience in leadership and executive positions in national, provincial and local government organisations including a number of years as a practicing attorney.
She practiced as a Director at Brown Braude & Vlok Inc. Attorneys where she completed her articles of Clerkship. She was recognized by the City of Cape Town as one of the Best Women in Leadership in 2005.
Her past assignments include a stint at the Johannesburg City Parks as HR Executive, Pikitup where she served as an Executive responsible for Legal, Environmental Compliance and Enforcement, City of Cape Town Director: Legal and Administration, Office of The Premier, Eastern Cape Province as Principal State Law Advisor, National Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism where she held Directorship of Legal Services where she earned valuable experience drafting environmental legislation. Her passion as an environmental activist saw her to a role as Director of the “Green Scorpions”- Environmental Enforcement.
A member of the Institute of Directors (IOD), she holds B.Proc; and LLB degrees, Consciousness Coaching Certificates in Master I-III from the Creative Consciousness Academy, a certificate in PME (Mini MBA) from Rhodes University Business School.
